I have bought already from many group buying websites and one of my favorites is MetroDeal. Here are the deals that I bought from them:
Gold's Gym: Already consumed my 10 Zumba classes, for which I paid P1000 instead of P5500 thanks to their promo tie-up with Gold's Gym. Everything went smoothly, my friend who joined me had the same amount of fun as I had. I have now even enrolled into a membership.
Gloria Jeans: Bought my voucher, printed it and went to Gloria Jeans Glorietta (P100 instead of P200). Got myself a coffee and a piece of cake and as always, no problems whatsoever.
Barbara's Restaurant: Eat-all-you-can buffet and cultural dance show for P250 instead of P545 in Intramuros? Who would've thought that. Needless to say, I purchased 20 vouchers for my company outing. Everyone enjoyed the food and the show and we even met the owner JC Delos Reyes, who took some pictures together with us. Great restaurant and great people running it.
Last thing I bought was the Cheesecake etc. voucher (P250 instead of P500) from MetroDeal. I brought a friend along, since P500 to spend at Cheesecake etc. is quite a lot (except if you buy a full cake). We had 2 good tasting fruit shakes and 2 cake slices (cheesecake and chocolate cake). Needless to say, everything went smoothly.
I also had to contact their customer support once regarding a friend of mine, who hadn't clicked on my referral link, but purchased right away. Needless to say, I still wanted to get those reward credits that they award you for a successful referral, so I contacted them and they replied within 30 minutes and had credited my account with the said amount. Now that's what I call customer service :)
Another thing what I notice is that MetroDeal sells more vouchers for their deals than others, albeit their deals run for a shorter time period on their website. Plus they have almost 600,000 fans on their fanpage called "MetroDeal Philippines" on Facebook.
